THE RIDE OF A LIFETIME

Your signature card, after being transcribed to "THE CARD," (approximately 4x8 closed and 8x8 when opened) will be gathered in Branson Mo.  In Branson your signature card will be secured with those from other grateful Americans in Vietnam era Duffel bags. (Sea bags for the Navy and Marines). The Sea Bags will be secured in digitally wrapped Semi-trailers.

15 May 2014 the trailers will be picked up by digitally- wrapped Semi-tractors to begin the 1700 mile escorted trip to "The Wall." The escort will be provided by you, if you desire, as well as:

A motor cycle contingency of Missouri State Patrol

Rolling Thunder Flame of Freedom   rolling thunder

Mississippi Rolling Thunder

North Carolina Rolling Thunder

Members of Missouri Rolling Thunder

Other motor cycle clubs that desire to show the ultimate respect to our Vietnam veteran

Those Grateful Americans that desire to be a part this historic event for our Vietnam veterans in automobiles or on bikes

Documentary crew filming for the production of a documentary

Significant possibility of a Huey escort for a part of the journey if not the entire trip

The 1,700 mile trip will be made in 250-300 miles/day increments. Each evening will be concluded with a Card and Flame of Freedom Ceremony, to remember our Vietnam Veterans and Americas POW/MIA's.

The Wednesday evening  ceremony will be held in conjunction with the famous Globe and Laurel restaurant across from the gates of MCCS Quantico. Dinner at the Globe and Laurel will follow the evening activities.

Unloading of the Duffel bags and stacking them along the walk way at "The Wall" prior to the presentation

The grand and historic presentation of The Card, at The Wall, Connie Stevens (Chairman), Larry Gatlin (Co-Chairman), James Robbins (Co-Chairman) and others of the civilian delegation will present to the Vietnam veterans, Eddie Beasley, Gene Dove and others - receiving for the veterans

The Ride to the Wall with Rolling Thunder.

On Veterans Day 2014 The Card, will be Re-presented to the Vietnam Education Center to be on display for, "As long as the United States exists"
