BE A PART OF MAKING HISTORY

Add Your Name To History
Add Your Name To History
America's Vietnam Veterans offered the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Now is the time to thank them properly.

Add your name to history!; Present to them what will be the world record-setting THANK YOU CARD. The goal is to collect the most names ever listed on a greeting card in history, with the total to be certified by Guinness Book of World Records. Nothing less would be as meaningful. Names and signatures will be obtained on Thank You Cards that will be returned to VIDOL and the names transferred to the official campaign Thank You Card, which will be large enough for the millions of signatures we seek. Ultimately, the cards will be escorted to Washington D.C.to be stored in Vietnam-era duffel bags and archived into perpetuity.

Subsequent to the presentation at the Wall, the official campaign Thank You Card will be on display in the Vietnam Education Center located across the street. It will remain on display, "For as long as the United States exists."

Concurrently, the campaign will invite signers to petition the U.S. Congress for a full accounting of all POW/MIA personnel, as well as total transparency of their records; "For they deserve to walk on American soil or be buried within it." (presently 1,687 from the Vietnam era)

To Our POW & MIA Heroes: This Thank You Card is for You Too!
There are 8.2 million "Vietnam-Era Veterans". Of these, 2.59 million are reported to have served "in country". Today, fewer than 900,000 Vietnam veterans are with us, but more than 400/day leaving us. More than 58,000 US military personnel died as a direct result of the serving in the conflict. Of those who served in-country, there are still 1,687 POW/MIA and to them we commit:

"You have not received your final recognition on the Memorial Wall, nor have we been privileged to welcome you back home; but you remain in our hearts, minds and prayers. We, the American people, commit to you that we will not cease demanding from Congress complete transparency of records, and a full accounting, for every American POW and MIA"
